Enter the postcode of a commercial building in England or Wales to see its energy performance certificates: the rating, the date, when it expires, and whether it meets the E minimum for letting.

A building can have more than one certificate; we show the latest for each address. The rules apply to privately rented non-domestic buildings and have exemptions. This is not legal advice.

How this works

We send the postcode to the government's Energy Certificate Data service and show what it returns. We do not store the postcode or the results.
An EPC is valid for ten years from the date it was lodged.
Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own registers and are not covered.
